Summer '08 Market Tote Swap!!!

Read on for the rules & requirements of the swap, and to see how you can enter the raffle to win a bag!

Here are the REQUIREMENTS, please read carefully :

* Each market tote must be handmade. This is not to say that you must make it by hand. If you are sew challenged or don't have the time, but still want to participate, purchasing a hand made market tote for this swap is not out of bounds (Etsy is a great resource for handmade goods) - but making one yourself is much more fun!

* Totes must be durable, reusable, washable, and be able to withstand a beating. The whole purpose of this is to use them, right?

* Totes must be able to carry, lets say, a half gallon of milk, a box of cereal, and a few other small items comfortably.

* Make it and decorate it any way you want to, just be creative & have fun with it! No boring bags allowed. =)

* Include a small bag stuffer! Who wouldn't love to get a little something extra? Stuff your bag with a surprise gift for your swap partner. It can be anything because... it's a surprise! Check out your partners' blog to get some ideas of what they might like.

Please take a look at the RULES and make sure that you can abide by them before signing up :

* The Deadline to sign up is: May 20th

* You will receive an e-mail from me with your partners information on or before May 25th. The names of the swap participants will be posted on this page, and updated frequently.

* You must, must, must send your totes out on or before June 20th. That is the first day of Summer, and since this is a swap for Summer, well, you know...

* Let your partner know when you have received the tote. This is a matter of showing appreciation for the thought and care that goes into making something by hand. A thank you is always a good thing whether it be by snail mail or e-mail.

* If you think you might flake, don't sign up! If there is a problem, contact me! Everyone is held accountable, you will know who your partner is and vice versa.

* Participants that do not keep up their end of the bargain will not be allowed to play next time. Too bad, so sad.

6) This swap is open to international swappers, so please indicate weather or not you are able and willing to ship over seas. Thanks!
