This is a series of photographs that I took on the way back home from our trip to China Town last week. I really loved the way the lights traveled across space to create a lovely haunting effect. I was truly surprised at how they struck an emotional chord within me. Because they were taken on the fly while traveling, each photo is unique and can never be exactly reproduced. They portray a moment in time that is so very beautiful, yet also incredibly fleeting. From top to bottom they are in chronological order, starting in downtown L.A., and ending in Irvine, CA. Logan (my awesome husband and trusty driver) remarked at how the lights resembled graffiti. That thought was on the money, so I decided to title this series 'Digital Graffiti'. I hope to expand upon this series in the near future, as I got a tremendous amount of enjoyment creating this one.
I am offering these prints in my new-fangled Etsy shop, chatterbox photo. They are professionally printed on archival Fuji Pearl photo paper which creates a greater sense of dimension by giving the lights a lifelike illumination. Image size is 7 9/16 x 5" on 8 x 10" paper so there is a nice white border for easy framing.
Oh, and I should mention that the images you see here and will see in the shop have been slightly degraded with an embedded watermark. Your print will not not have these degradations, but will be smooth and clear. Prints will come to you signed by yours truly.
I hope you like this series as much as I do!

Those really are beautiful! I think they could catch on if you put them out for folks to see....
